I’m Guillaume, a food enthusiast and hobbyist cooker. I’ve turned to vegetarian diet more than ten years ago, then became vegan. I’ve started writing Guillaume Cooks Vegan newsletter beginning of 2022 to share what I fancy cooking, relay great recipes I found online, and others I successfully “veganized”.

What’s in the newsletter?
Sometimes one can feel like eating always the same set of meals, and wish for a change. Guillaume Cooks Vegan is a newsletter giving you varied ideas (and full recipes) to cook delicious vegan meals from planet Earth. Each edition of the newsletter comes with:
The number of servings, when applicable
The preparation and cooking times, so you can plan the recipe accordingly
A story about this dish
A focus on a special ingredient of the recipe, or a related topic
A detailed list of ingredients, with alternatives to those harder to find, and optional ones to enhance the experience
Comprehensive preparation steps, to get comfortable before starting to cook, and avoid last-minute discovery that the carrot had to be cut into thin matchsticks
Simple cooking instructions, to be hand-held to the expected end result
Pictures of the dish, ingredients, and some intermediate steps, for illustration purpose — and to get you hungry, I confess!
Each recipe has been tested and validated at least by myself — and sometimes my partner, family, or friends. You’re exempted from my failed experiments, which I’m mentioning at times. Recipes follow my mood, personal taste, and products availability; expect dishes mainly from Asia and Europe, with yummy hops to America and Africa.
Unless stated otherwise, all pictures are licensed under Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0 terms.
Why subscribe?
Subscribe to get full access to the newsletter and website. You won’t have to worry about missing a recipe: every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox. It also encourages me to continue writing recipes, some being genuine ones you’ve never seen elsewhere!
Social networks
I also publish on Instagram; feel free to follow @guillaume_vg. There aren’t any recipes on Instagram - they’re all published on Guillaume Cooks Vegan newsletter. My posts on Instagram may contain additional pictures, that’s all. I also post stories with teasers, or polls — though you can engage with me by leaving a comment.
