I love the addition of the cauliflower to the dal! I’ve never done that before. I think I’ll have that for dinner tonight 😋

I used to rely on potatoes instead of cauliflower, and it was already great - the potatoes definitely give a thick and yummy texture. Although I was not into the "low-carb" mood, life caught me and I looked for alternatives here and there. What started as an experiment ended up before the favorite dal at home.

I was going through this recipe today, as I cooked it, and I noticed the lentils did not appear in the Cooking steps!
